Flying Unirhinocorn
Today we were assigned to create new animal. I was interested in the idea of adding wings to something, and I decided that a rhinoceros would be the ideal creature. I found stork wings on the Internet, cut them out and transformed them so they would face in a different direction. The wings were already close to the rhino's colour and I had to adjust the hue and saturation only a little bit. If I could have redone something on this project, I would have found a better horn to put on the the rhino instead of a small narwhal horn. Also I would have made the wings more seamless into the rhino, perhaps placing them so they actually connected to the shoulder of the rhino.

Tongue
This is the tutorial on the second day. We used a picture of a frog and a mouth and learned how to use certain tools to combine the mouth and tongue. We followed the teacher through the tutorial and had the option of adding more to our finished piece but I decided not to.
If I were to do it again, I would probably be more careful cutting out the from and possibly have changed the lip color of the mouth. I learned how to use a drop shadow on the frog to make it appear more realistic instead of fake and flat.
Man Eating Pancake
This is the tutorial on the first day. We learned how to open up the pancake in the shape of a mouth and instead the piranhas teeth to make it appear as if the pancake was going to eat someone or something. I learned how to use the liquefy tool to smoothly move parts of a photo. If I have done this differently I would have done the mouth a bit more realistically and I may not have added the eyes like I did during the free design time.
